Our philosophy is to promote an environment of high quality childcare in close partnership with parents. We enable children in our care to reach their full potential in an exciting, stimulating and educational atmosphere, geared to each child’s individual developmental and specific needs.
We have a number of different areas for children of different ages. Here's an overview, for more information on each room follow the links on the right.
POPPIES AND LADYBIRDS ROOMS
These are homely rooms catering for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years. These rooms offer a visual bright, friendly and stimulating atmosphere with wet and dry play areas.
RAINDROPS AND SUNBEAMS ROOM
These spacious rooms cater for 2 to 3 year olds and are furnished with wet and dry play surfaces as well as outdoor play areas. Each playroom has its own bathroom equipped with child sized toilets and sinks, a changing table and potties. Staff will work in partnership with parents to encourage potty training.
SLEEP ROOM
This room is equipped with cots and sleep mattresses and is supervised. Children can rest here undisturbed, or take time out to recharge their batteries.
SUNFLOWER AND DAISIES ROOMS
Our school rooms are equipped to challenge the devloping minds of our 3-5 year olds. These spacious playrooms are furnished with wet and dry play areas and children have access to their own outdoor play area.
Through working to the Department for Education and Skills Early Early Years Framework, our children are gradually prepared for school. Weekly topic plans are carefully set by staff to ensure that our children achieve the six areas of learning and development by the end of the Foundation Stage.
